Established as an annual, week-long observance by the American Health Care Association (AHCA) in 1967, NSNCW provides an opportunity to recognize the role of skilled nursing care centers in caring for America\u2019s seniors and individuals with disabilities.<\/p>\n<p>This year, <strong>Elmhurst Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center <\/strong>has planned the following NSNCW events:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Event 1<\/strong><br \/>\nMother\u2019s Day Tea in the Cafe<br \/>\nSunday, May 13th from 2-3:30 pm<\/p>\n<p><strong>Event 2<\/strong><br \/>\nCasino Fun for All!<br \/>\nMonday, May 14th 1:30-3:30 pm<br \/>\nIn the Caf\u00e9 on the 1st floor<\/p>\n<p><strong>Event 3<\/strong><br \/>\nHollywood Talent Show<br \/>\nTuesday, May 15th 2-3:30 pm<br \/>\nSign up to show off your talent.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Event 4<\/strong><br \/>\nCountry Fair and Carnival<br \/>\nWednesday, May 16th<br \/>\n1:30-3:30pm<br \/>\nOut in the garden unless rain and then we will move indoors!<\/p>\n<p>Make your own ice cream sundae in the conference room in the afternoon<\/p>\n<p><strong>Event 5<\/strong><br \/>\nDiversity Day<br \/>\nThursday, May 17th 2-3:30 pm<br \/>\nEnjoy the Cultural displays and sample food from all of the countries that are represented at Elmhurst.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Event 6<\/strong><br \/>\nResident Big Bucks Bingo!!<br \/>\nFriday, May 18th 2-4 pm<br \/>\nFood, fun and Bingo<\/p>\n<p>If you are interested in participating in one of the NSNSCW events at Elmhurst Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, please contact Kelly Woolmington, Activities Director at <a href=\"mailto:kwoolmington@elmhurstrehabhc.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">kwoolmington@elmhurstrehabhc.com<\/a> or 401-456-2600.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Elmhurst Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is excited to participate in National Skilled Nursing Care Week (NSNCW), formerly known as National Nursing Home Week, on May 13-19, 2018.
